Job Description:

General Overview:

The position involves completing the standardized cleaning process in various areas of the hospital, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely cleaning in patient rooms, offices, departments, and ancillary areas, including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, and more.
  • Assist with project work, such as wall washing, trash removal, and biohazardous linens and sharps container removal.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to Patient Satisfaction initiatives.
  • Adhere to all hospital safety standards, including the use of chemicals and equipment.
  • Follow hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as well as regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • May require FIT testing, but it’s provided upon hire as needed.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Basic reading, writing, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to operate power equipment.
