The Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Entrepreneurship Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for African students and recent graduates. - Up to 60 Fellows will be selected in the final phase to receive a stipend of $500 CAD.

To be considered for the Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship on Entrepreneurship, applicants must be:
- Graduates from all academic disciplines, hailing from any African post-secondary institution. Whether you’re already working on a business or starting a new one, this program is here to support you.
- Committed to developing an entrepreneurial mindset and utilizing the provided resources to build your enterprise. The program is delivered virtually, allowing flexibility, but the most dedicated participants are expected to invest at least 10 hours per week. Completion of assignments adhering to strict deadlines is a requirement to progress through the program phases.
- Proficient in English, as program content is delivered in English. Mentorship may be available in English and French. Assignments and pitches must be in English. Those with limited English proficiency are encouraged to apply and collaborate with someone who can meet the program’s English language requirements. Prospective fellows may also work with their local university to access resources that help them overcome language-related challenges.
