Job Description:
You will be reporting to the Head of Process Development, and you will be a part of a cross-functional agile Project Team. This team focuses on preparing, maintaining, and improving tools and processes for Allianz’s Actuarial team worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze how actuarial processes can be improved to meet evolving business requirements.
- Design prototypes.
- Document your work and requirements and track progress.
- Collaborate with IT developers to implement changes and conduct testing.
- Prepare training documentation and sessions for junior colleagues.
- Present newly developed functionalities to stakeholders globally and across all key business areas.
Qualifications:
- Actuarial certification with 5 to 8 years of experience in the actuarial field, preferably educated in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Familiarity with the insurance and reinsurance market, regulatory and compliance standards, and reserving techniques.
- Awareness of insurance finance and the complexities of an international insurance company.
- Quantitative financial and risk modeling skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing models and processes.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and remote team in a multicultural context.
- Membership in a recognized professional society.
- Excellent command of the English language.
