Role: Sr. RFID Implementation Manager

Sensormatic Solutions is looking for a Senior RFID Implementation Manager for North America as part of the Global Professional Services Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of Sensormatic Retail Solutions for the world’s largest retailers. You’ll play a key role as an integrator of JCI/Sensormatic products and third-party solutions, focusing on RFID-based inventory visibility, RFID shrink and EAS, video, computer vision, people counting, traffic intelligence, and traditional EAS products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Lead the design and documentation of solutions, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders. This includes network, infrastructure, hardware, and software systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architecture.
  • Technical Pre-Sales: Play a pivotal role during the pre-sales phase, working on responses to RFIs and RFPs, delivering technical materials, and presenting solutions to a diverse set of IT and business stakeholders.
  • Implementation: During project implementation, you’ll serve as an advisor, ensuring compliance with the design.
  • Contribution to Product Roadmap: Consolidate customer requests for product enhancements and influence the strategic roadmap.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years in designing or implementing RFID or data capture (AIDC) systems at an enterprise scale, ideally in a retail environment.
  • RFID Hardware & Standards: Experience with Gen2 RFID tags, readers, and software, including familiarity with air interfaces.
  • RFID Protocols & Messaging: Experience with EPC data and industry-standard protocols: LLRP, MQTT, and major manufacturer reader APIs.
  • Database & Networking Knowledge: Knowledge of one major RDBMS and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Retail Solution Design: The ability to design solutions across business, application, and technology domains.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to guide and influence customers on technology decisions.
  • Customer Relationships: Developing long-term customer relationships and maintaining trusted advisor relationships.
  • Language: English (verbal and written) is required.
  • Travel: Expect 25%-50% travel across North America.
